European Judges from Newcomers Given Go-Ahead

Brussels, 7 May - The Council of the EU, a body representing all member states, has endorsed the newcomers' judge tenures at the Court of Justice of the European Communities. Marko Ilesic has thus become the first Slovenian judge at the Luxembourg-based court, an office he will hold until 6 October 2009.
