Croatian Paper Says Schengen System Barrier to Fish Exports
Zagreb, 7 May - A report published today suggests that Croatian fishermen exporting fresh fish to Italy could face considerable damages as Slovenia is introducing Schengen border standards. Currently they have to do their shipments via the Obrezje border crossing, the only Slovenian border point that has been certified for phytosanitary checks of goods intended for the EU.
