Ljubljana, 9 May - World oil prices have risen to the highest levels over the past decade recently, which could affect Slovenia's inflation rate. Due to problems with the information system which delayed customs procedures, lorries entering the EU from Croatia found themselves waiting in long lines at the outset of the week as Slovenia joined the EU on 1 May. Meanwhile, the income tax act was backed by parliament after it had been vetoed by the parliament's upper chamber.
