Ljubljana-Istanbul Rail Line for Freight to Be Launched

Ljubljana, 11 May - A direct goods train connecting Istanbul and Ljubljana is to be introduced by the end of the year in what has been a project initiated by Slovenian and Turkish railways. The East Express, which will continue its journey to Munich, is expected to cut freight periods by two days.
