US to Screen Slovenian Port for Illegal Nuclear Devices
Ljubljana, 13 May - The United States is to install radiation portal monitors in Slovenia's port of Koper to prevent illegal entry of nuclear devices and radiological materials into Slovenia. This will happen as part of the implementation of the agreement on cooperation in prevention of proliferation of weapons of mass destruction, signed by the US and Slovenia in 1999, and amended at Thursday's session of the Slovenian government.
