Ljubljana, 16 May - The Slovenian government adopted a convergence programme, which will be one of the key elements in deciding about Slovenia's admission to the European Exchange Rate Mechanism II (ERM II) and subsequently to the euro-zone. The document had to be submitted to the European Commission by 15 May. Also in the news this week was the launch of Lek's production plant in Poland. The Slovenian drug maker, which is part of the Novartis group, invested EUR 70m in the project.
