FMs to Debate Croatia's EU Membership Application in June

Brussels, 17 May - EU foreign ministers have announced that they will review the European Commission's opinion on Croatia's membership application - and its recommendation that membership negotiations start - in June. "It is impossible to say at this point whether Croatia will get a date for the start of negotiations in June," Slovenian FM Dimitrij Rupel said after Monday's meeting.
