Basketball: Olimpija Takes Upper Hand in League Final

Ljubljana, 19 May - Ljubljana-based basketball club Olimpija is a step closer to regaining the national league title after beating Lasko 82:77 (23:17, 46:42, 68:62) in the first game of the best of five finals series on Wednesday in Ljubljana. The second game will be played in Lasko on Saturday. Reigning champions Krka were knocked out in the quarter finals.
