Handball: Celje Wins First Leg of Finals

Velenje, 20 May - Celje Pivovarna Lasko, the reigning European handball champions, have beaten Gorenje of Velenje in the first leg of of the championship finals 33:28 (15:12). The second game, which could already decide who will be this year's Slovenian champion, is scheduled for Sunday in Celje, while a possible third game will be played on Wednesday, 26 May.
