The Yugoslav Dinar is now worth only 10 Liras
Ljubljana, 18 October - The majority of the banks in Trieste (Trst) will no longer exchange foreign currency for the Yugoslav Dinar (YUD). In the banks where it is still exchangeable, the YUD is valued at 10 Italian Liras, which means that its value has dropped 10% within the past week. The Trieste (Trst) Credit Bank will still exchange Slovene Tolars (SLT), but only in amounts not exceeding 15,000 SLT. The value of the Tolar remains unchanged.
