Pay Raise Agreed; SKEI Calls Off General Strike

Ljubljana, 21 May - Workers in metal and electronics industries will get a SIT 9,000 (EUR 38) gross pay rise according to an agreement reached on Tuesday by employers and trade unions. Wages will be raised as of May, by SIT 4,000 (EUR 17), and by the same sum as of August, while the rest will be added to workers' take-home pay in November.
