Slovenia Rich in Biodiversity
Ljubljana, 22 May - Slovenia is among the world leaders in biodiversity and landscape diversity: although it takes up only 0.004 percent of the earth's surface, it is home to over 1 percent of all known species and over 2 percent of land species, the non-parliamentary Party of Ecological Movements said in a news release marking International Day of Biological Diversity.
