Ljubljana, 26 May - Maltreatment and excessive use of force on the part of police are the two recurring problems that the Amnesty International has been drawing attention to in relation to Slovenia. This and the state's failure to deal with the cases in a prompt, thorough and unbiased manner are also highlighted in the AI 2003 report released on Wednesday.
