Great Expectations for This Year's Ljubljana Summer Festival

Ljubljana, 26 May - Renowned artists from all over the world are to grace the stages of Slovenia's capital this summer as part of the traditional Ljubljana Summer Festival, which is to open with Bizet's "Carmen" on 8 July. Before wrapping up on 19 August, the festival will see some 45 music, ballet and opera events performed by over 2,000 artists from 26 countries, artistic director of the festival Darko Brlek revealed on Wednesday.
