Telecommunication Lines Broken

Ljubljana, 19 October - Since 1 p.m. yesterday, all telephone and teleprinter lines with Serbia, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro have been broken, while the only regular lines with Croatia are those with Zagreb and Reka. Telephone exchange with Dalmatia, the areas of Vinkovci, Vukovar and Osijek are severely obstructed. There are no changes with telephone exchange with foreign countries. According to the latest information from Croatia, the most recent disturbances in telecommunication lines was caused by damage inflicted on the network following bombardment.
