Writers Debate the Not-so-Bright Side of Europe

Bled, 27 May - Participants of the 37th International Writers' Meeting laid out a bright view of European culture in the first part of Thursday's round table. Yet the second part of the debate - entitled "European Culture or European Cultures?" - was less optimistic, with several writers noting that Europe as a field of communication and openness is often accepted only by intellectuals.
