French Open: Srebotnik Advances to Second Round in Doubles

Paris, 27 May - Having secured a third round singles appearance at the French Open earlier today, Katarina Srebotnik has now made it to the second round in the doubles competition. Srebotnik and fellow countrywoman Tina Krizan beat the French-Luxembourger pairing of Stephanie Cohen-Aloro and Claudine Schaul 7:5 and 7:5 in Thursday's first round match at Roland Garros. The Slovenian pair will play against Japan's Shinobu Asagoe and Rika Fujivara in the second round.
