Ljubljana, 1 June - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 2 June:

LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - The EU's Council of Economics and Finance Ministers is to convene for a regular meeting. Slovenia's Dusan Mramor is scheduled to attend the session, which is expected to debate the impact of rising oil prices, budget difficulties of member states and new economic policy guidelines. LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - The EU Council on Employment, Health and Consumer Protection and Social Affairs is to wrap up a two-day session. Health ministers, including Slovenia's Dusan Keber, are to pass decisions related to coronary and heart disease, flu epidemics, patient mobility and alcohol consumption among the youth. (STA)

RABAT, Morocco - Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel is expected to meet with Moroccan PM Driss Jettou and heads of both chambers of parliament on the last day oh his two-day visit. (STA)

KOPER - The Koper Faculty of Humanities is to organise a four-day conference entitled "Globalised Europe - Europe in the Globalised World of the 21st Century". The opening speech is to be delivered at 9 AM by Erwan Fouere, the head of the European Commission representation in Slovenia. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The International Relations Association is to host a lecture on Slovenian-Croatian relations at 5 PM delivered by Croatian political analyst Davor Gjenero.

LJUBLJANA - The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport is to organise the opening conference for Teacher Training Network (TTnet). The network is to bring together all institutions that can contribute to teacher training from the point of view of national and European priorities. The event starts at 10 AM.

BLED - The Metrology Institute is to host the 18th general assembly of EUROMET, a European association of metrology institutes. The three-day event is to be attended by participants from 26 countries.

LJUBLJANA - The Agency for Radioactive Waste is to hold a press conference upon the conclusion of the reconstruction of the country's only storage facility for low and medium radioactive waste; at 10 AM.

MARIBOR - The Student Organisation of the Maribor University is to talk to the press at 11:30 AM to present open issues that students want to discuss with the government.

LJUBLJANA - The Electoral Commission is to meet at 1:30 PM to discuss how it will establish results at the 13 June elections to the European Parliament.

METLIKA/NOVO MESTO - Candidates of the joint list of the Liberal Democrats (LDS) and Pensioners' Party (DeSUS) are to campaign for the European Parliament Elections in Novo Mesto and Metlika.

BOVEC/KOBARID/TOLMIN/CERKNO/IDRIJA - Candidates of the People's Party (SLS) are to tour several towns in western Slovenia as part of their European Parliament elections campaign.

PIRAN/PORTOROZ/KOPER - New Slovenia (NSi) is to campaign for the elections in the Primorsko region.

SLOVENSKA BISTRICA - Candidates of the United List (ZLSD) are to continue their regional campaign in Slovenska Bistrica; at 11 AM.

MARIBOR - The non-parliamentary Party of Ecological Movements (SEG) is to hold a round-table debate on education opportunities at 3 PM as part of its campaign.
