Countries Sharing Common Values Could Join EU, Verheugen Says
Ljubljana, 1 June - The strategy of European integration depends entirely on the ability to provide political and economic stability. To achieve that, the society must be based on common values. That is why further rounds of enlargement to countries that share these common values have not been ruled out, Enlargement Commissioner Guenter Verheugen said in a lecture on Tuesday.
