Weekly Review of Events Involving Slovenia from 29 May to 4 June

Ljubljana, 5 June - The implementation of a protective ecological and fisheries zone declared by Croatia in the Adriatic was put off last week after Slovenian, Italian and Croatian officials meet with the European Commission in Brussels. Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel paid his first official visit to Morocco and hosted his Serbia-Montenegrin counterpart Vuk Draskovic in Ljubljana later in the week. European Enlargement Commissioner Guenter Verheugen paid a visit together with his team commissioner Janez Potocnik. Also discussing EU issues in Ljubljana was British Europe Minister Denis MacShane.
