Ljubljana, 6 June - Schedule of events in the week from 7 to 13 June:

MONDAY, 7 June

LJUBLJANA - Maltese Minister of Foreign Affairs and Investment Promotion John Dalli is to begin a two-day visit to Slovenia. He is due to meet with Foreign Minister Dimtrij Rupel, Prime Minister Anton Rop, President Janez Drnovsek, Regional Development Minister Zdenka Kovac and Finance Minister Dusan Mramor.

PORTOROZ - A two-day conference of the Stability Pact for Southeastern Europe, hosted by Slovenia, is to begin. Three working tables are due to be held on the first day, to focus on the role of media and parliaments, employment policy and fight against organised crime in the region.

DOBOJ, Bosnia-Herzegovina - Prime Minister Anton Rop is to visit Slovenian soldiers deployed in NATO-led SFOR peace keeping forces.

LJUBLJANA - President Janez Drnovsek is to hold talks with Slovenia's European Commissioner Janez Potocnik.

GENEVA, Switzerland - Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Vlado Dimovski is due to attend a regular session of the International Labour Conference, to continue through Wednesday.

SANTIAGO DE COMPOSTELA, Spain - Transport Minister Marko Pavliha is to attend a two-day seminar on the transport in the enlarged EU, organised by the European Commission.

LJUBLJANA - Minister of Education, Science and Sport Slavko Gaber is to sign a contract on the construction of new student housing facilities in Ljubljana and Maribor.

TUESDAY, 8 June

LJUBLJANA - The three-day, early voting for the 2004 European elections is to begin.

PORTOROZ - The Stability Pact for Southeastern Europe is to hold its semiannual regional table. Austrian FM Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Bosnian FM Mladen Ivanic, Macedonian FM Ilinka Mitreva, Moldavian FM Andrei Stratan and Croatian FM Miomir Zuzul are expected to attend.

LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Interior Minister Rado Bohinc and Justice Minister Zdenka Cerar are to attend the EU ministerial council for justice and interior affairs.

GENEVA, Switzerland - Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Vlado Dimovski is to meet with Irish Minister for Labour Affairs Frank Fahey at the sidelines of the International Labour Conference's session.

PODGORICA, Serbia-Montenegro - Agriculture Minister Milan Pogacnik is to begin a two-day visit to Montenegro.

LJUBLJANA - The trade unions of the public sector and the government are to continue negotiations on the collective agreement.

BERN, Switzerland - The Chief of Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces Ladislav Lipic is to attend a two-day meeting of the Central European Cooperation in Peace Support Operations (CENCOOP).

Trieste - A trial is to continue at the Trieste Court in the lawsuit of Croatian savers against the Slovenian bank NLB.

LJUBLJANA - The Association of Slovenian Free Trade Unions (ZSSS) is to hold a new conference to reveal how the candidates for the European elections have answered its questionnaire about labour and social rights.

LJUBLJANA - The Ministry for Information Society is to hold a news conference on an e-business conference.

MARIBOR - Probanka, Slovenia's tenth largest bank, is to reveal business results at a news conference.

LJUBLJANA - The Ljubljana-based Peace Institute is to hold a forum on intolerance and discrimination.

VELENJE - The literary festival HLSSK, the third in a row, is to gather Slovenian authors, to end on Friday.

WEDNESDAY, 9 June

LJUBLJANA - Moldavian President Vladimir Veronin is to begin a two-day visit to Slovenia at the invitation of President Janez Drnovsek.

LJUBLJANA - The joint Slovenian-Bavarian commission is to begin a two-day meeting.

LONDON, Great Britain - Defence Minister Anton Grizold is to begin a two-day working visit to Great Britain, to meet British Defence Secretary Geoffrey Hoon.

GENEVA, Switzerland - Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Vlado Dimovski is to meet with Dutch Minister of Social Affairs and Employment Aart Jan de Geus.

BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - Health Minister Dusan Keber is to begin a two-day visit to Slovakia.

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary economics committee is to examine problems of the stud farm Kobilarna Lipica.

THURSDAY, 10 June

BRDO PRI KRANJU - A two-day conference is to be organised by the not-for-profit European-American institution EastWest Institute, the office of President Janez Drnovsek and the Foreign Ministry.

SKOPJE, Macedonia - Prime Minister Anton Rop, accompanied by a business delegation, is to begin a two-day visit to Macedonia.

LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Transport Minister Marko Pavliha, Information Society Minister Pavel Gantar and Environment Minister Janez Kopac are to attend the EU ministerial council of transport, energy and telecommunications.

DOBROVO - The parliamentary agriculture committee is to examine the 2004 programme of the Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry.
