Ljubljana, 7 June - Below is a schedule of events for Tuesday, 8 June:

PORTOROZ - The regional table of the Stability Pact for Southeastern Europe is to hold its semi-annual session. Austrian FM Benita Ferrero-Waldner, Bosnian FM Mladen Ivanic, Macedonian FM Ilinka Mitreva, Moldovan FM Andrei Stratan and Croatian FM Miomir Zuzul are expected to attend the event, which is to be opened by Slovenian PM Anton Rop. The session starts at 9 AM and a press conference is scheduled for noon. (STA)

LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Interior Minister Rado Bohinc and Justice Minister Zdenka Cerar are to attend the EU ministerial council for justice and interior affairs. (STA)

PODGORICA, Serbia-Montenegro - Agriculture Minister Milan Pogacnik is to begin a two-day visit to Montenegro.

BERN, Switzerland - The Chief of Staff of the Slovenian Armed Forces Ladislav Lipic is to attend a two-day meeting of the Central European Cooperation in Peace Support Operations (CENCOOP).

TRIESTE, Italy - The trial against the Slovenian bank NLB, launched by a group of account holders of the defunct bank Ljubljanska banka, is to resume. (STA)

GENEVA, Switzerland - Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Vlado Dimovski is to meet with Irish Minister for Labour Affairs Frank Fahey on the sidelines of the International Labour Conference session.

LJUBLJANA - A delegation of the Hungarian Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications is to arrive on a working visit. E-government is to top the agenda as the officials meet with representatives of the Ministry of the Information Society.

LJUBLJANA - The trade unions of the public sector and the government are to continue negotiations on the collective agreement.

LJUBLJANA - The Ministry for Information Society is to hold a news conference at 11 AM to present the 17th conference on e-commerce entitled Global E-connecting.

MARIBOR - Probanka, Slovenia's tenth largest bank, is to reveal current business results at a news conference scheduled for 1 PM.

MARIBOR - The Maribor Faculty of Business and Economics it to hold a press conference at 11 AM to present the results of a survey entitled "The Role of Cities in the Development of Regions".

LJUBLJANA - The shadow government led by the opposition Slovenian Democrats (SDS) is to hold a public debate at 5 PM on environment and spatial planning.

LJUBLJANA - The National Council is to host a panel on sustainable development, starting at 4 PM.

VELENJE - The literary festival HLSSK, the third in a row, is to gather Slovenian authors, to end on Friday.

LJUBLJANA - The Mountain Rescue Service is to hold a press conference at 11 AM to present an analysis of rescue missions in 2003.

LJUBLJANA - The Association of Free Trade Unions of Slovenia (ZSSS) is to hold a news conference at noon to reveal how the candidates for the European elections have answered its questionnaire about labour and social rights. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - The three-day early voting for the 2004 European elections is to begin.

LJUBLJANA - The People's Party (SLS) is to talk to the press at 9:30 AM to present the party's views on the Slovenian healthcare system in the aftermath of EU entry.

LJUTOMER - The non-parliamentary Democratic Party of Slovenia is to hold a press conference at noon to present the party's slate for the European Parliament elections.

MARIBOR - The top candidate of the Youth Party (SMS) and the Greens, Alenka Paulin, it to talk to the press at noon to address Slovenia's participation in the global animal rights campaign.

KOPER - The non-parliamentary Slovenia Is Ours is scheduled to host a news conference at noon and present the basic differences that separate it from other parties.
