LJUBLJANA - Moldovian President Vladimir Voronin is to begin a two-day visit to Slovenia at the invitation of President Janez Drnovsek. The two presidents are to speak to the press at Brdo pri Kranju at 12:15 PM. (STA)
LONDON, Great Britain - Defence Minister Anton Grizold is to begin a two-day working visit to Great Britain. He is to discuss with British Defence Secretary Geoffrey Hoon the security situation in Western Balkans and in Afghanistan; he is to speak to the Slovenian press at 2:15 AM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The Slovenian-Bavarian commission is to begin a two-day session to work out guidelines for cooperation in a number of fields in the future. The session is to be co-chaired by FM Dimitrij Rupel and Bavarian State Minister for European Affairs Eberhard Sinner. Sinner is also to meet Slovenia's Europe Minister Milan M. Cvikl.
GENEVA, Switzerland - Minister of Labour, Family and Social Affairs Vlado Dimovski is to meet Dutch Minister of Social Affairs and Employment Aart Jan de Geus.
BRATISLAVA, Slovakia - Health Minister Dusan Keber is to begin a two-day visit to Slovakia.
SKOFJA LOKA - The Agency for Agricultural Markets and Rural Development is to speak to the press after visiting SAPARD-sponsored projects at 10 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary economics committee is to examine problems of the stud farm Kobilarna Lipica at 9 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The milk interest group at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GZS) is to speak at 11:30 AM about the current situation in the Slovenian milk industry and the situation in the EU.
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary inquiry commission into the attempted murder of journalist Miro Petek is to finalise the report on its work, with its chair speaking to the press at 2 PM.
KOPER - The University of Primorsko is to present its work in the first academic year at 10 AM, with Education and Science Minister Slavko Gaber attending. A panel on this youngest Slovenian university is to take place at 6 PM, to be attended by Chancellor Lucija Cok. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - A day prior to a two-day business conference of the public sector, the event is to be presented to the press by its organisers at 1 PM.
LJUBLJANA - The deputy group of the opposition National Party (SNS) is to hold a news conference at noon on the chances Slovenian women have to participate in the public arena in an equal footing.

2004 EUROPEAN ELECTIONS
LJUBLJANA - Europe Minister Milan M. Cvikl and head of the Representation of the European Commission in Slovenia Erwan Fouere are to speak about the European elections to the press at 11 AM. (STA)
CELJE - All seven candidates from the joint slate of the LDS and the DeSUS are to appear for their final joint presentation of the list; they will be joined by Prime Minister Anton Rop at 7 PM.
MARIBOR - The candidates of the opposition New Slovenia (NSi) are to travel to Maribor to speak to their electorate there; Alojz Peterle, Alenka Sverc and Maruse Novak are to give a news conference.
LJUBLJANA - Rights of the disabled are to be discussed by all first-seeded candidates from the 13 lists for European elections at 9 AM; organised by the Council of the Organisations of the Disabled.
LJUBLJANA - The Party of Ecological Movements (SEG) is to hold a news conference at 11 AM speaking about its bid to abolish motorway toll for cars and its efforts to have second reading of the bill on the Triglav National Part put off.
LJUBLJANA - The government Office for Equal Opportunities is to organise a panel with women candidates for seats in the European Parliament at 5 PM. (STA)
