Ljubljana, 9 June - Below is a schedule of events for Thursday, 10 June:
BRDO PRI KRANJU - An international conference entitled "Building Cross-Border Security: The Role of the OSCE" is to begin at 3:30 PM. The event, organised by the not-for-profit European-American institution EastWest Institute, the office of President Janez Drnovsek and the Foreign Ministry, is to be addressed by FM Dimitrij Rupel and OSCE Secretary General Jan Kubis. SKOPJE, Macedonia - Prime Minister Anton Rop, accompanied by a business delegation and Economics Minister Matej Lahovnik, is to begin a two-day visit to Macedonia. He is scheduled to meet with Macedonian PM Hari Kostov; the pair is to give a joint press statement at 5 PM. Lahovnik is expected to meet with his Macedonian counterpart Stevco Jakimovski. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - Moldovan President Vladimir Voronin is to conclude a two-day official visit to Slovenia. He is to meet with Speaker of Parliament Borut Pahor and president of the opposition Slovenian Democrats (SDS) Janez Jansa.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - The beginning of a two-day meeting of the EU council for transport, energy and telecommunications. Slovenia will be represented by Transport Minister Marko Pavliha, Information Society Minister Pavel Gantar and Minister of the Environment, Energy and Spatial Planning Janez Kopac.
PORTOROZ - The beginning of a two-day conference of the public sector, entitled "Slovenia after EU Entry: Challenges and Opportunities". The event, starting at 10 AM, is to examine the dilemmas that the public sector faces as a result of EU entry. The participants are to be addressed by Interior Minister Rado Bohinc. (STA)
DUBROVNIK, Croatia - Europe Minister Milan Cvikl it to take part in an informal meeting of Europe ministers from Southeast Europe and participate in a Wilton Park conference entitled "New SE Europe and the Next Enlargement".
LJUBLJANA - Weekly cabinet session; a press conference is scheduled for 2 PM. (STA)

BELGRADE, Serbia-Montenegro - Secretaries general of European bishops' conferences, including Slovenia's Andrej Saje, are to convene for a four-day meeting.
PORTOROZ - A press conference is to be held at 1 PM to mark the signing of a strategic partnership agreement between the nature preserve Secoveljske soline (Secovlje saltplains) and the tourism division of the corporation Istrabenz.
BUDAPEST, Hungary - A draw for 5th Women's Handball Championships, to take place in Hungary in December; at 11 AM. (STA).

LJUBLJANA - The final day of the three-day early voting in elections to the European Parliament.
LJUBLJANA - The National Party (SNS) is to talk to the press at noon to present the current status of its European Parliament campaign.
LJUBLJANA - The United List (ZLSD) is to present its candidates in the centre of Ljubljana at 4 PM in what it considers the apex of its election campaign.
LJUBLJANA - All seven candidates of New Slovenia (NSi) are to talk to voters at an election rally that represents the closure of NSi's campaign. The guest of honour is president of the German Pan-European Union Berndt Posselt.
LJUBLJANA - The People's Party (SLS) is to hold a convention at 6 PM. Participants will be addressed by SLS president Janez Podobnik and the party's top candidate, former agriculture minister Franci But.
