Mr. Franc Dreu to visit the Chairlady of the Luxembourg Parliament

Ljubljana, 24 October - The authorized representative of the Slovenian Government in Luxembourg, Mr. Franc Dreu, was received today by the Chairlady of the Luxembourg Parliament, Mrs. Erna Hennicot - Schocpges. She stated that the people of Luxembourg view with great sympathies the achieving of independence of Slovenia, its endeavors to become integrated into the European economic associations and that also in the future Slovenia can expect their unreserved support. She also expressed her deep concerns with the situation in Yugoslavia and her fears that the war would spread to all the other republics. They both expressed their wish for a closer cooperation between the parliaments of the two states and thus a Slovenian parliamentary delegation is to visit Luxembourg during this year.
