Adria Airways completely grounded

Ljubljana, 26 October - The federal agency for traffic and communications suspended the right of Adria Airways to fly on domestic and international lines on October 24. Yesterday, Adria attempted to fly at least on international lines. But since the federal agency for traffic and communications also notified all international flight control institutions, reports coming to Adria today indicate the complete grounding of its airplanes abroad. Planes which Adria has loaned to foreign companies are also prevented from flying. Adria planes and their crews are thus forcibly grounded at different airports in Europe: in Celovec, Frankfurt, Muenchen and East Midlands in England.
