Ljubljana, 17 June - Below is a schedule of events for Friday, 18 June:

BRUSSELS, Belgium - The leaders of the European Union are expected to continue their search for a deal on the first EU constitution at the EU summit. Prime Minister Anton Rop is heading Slovenia's delegation at the meeting. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Serbian Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Ivana Dulic Markovic is to pay a visit to Slovenia.

ROVINJ, Croatia - Slovenian and Croatian interior ministers, Rado Bohinc and Marijan Mlinaric, are to hold a meeting to discuss police cooperation during the upcoming tourist season. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - Slovenian Justice Minister Zdenka Cerar and Montenegrin counterpart Zeljko Sturanovic are to hold a press conference at the conclusion of the latter's two-day visit to Slovenia.

LJUBLJANA - Parliament is expected to wrap up its June session after debating the proposed strategy of Slovenia's spatial development.

LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary EU affairs committee is to hold a session at 2 PM.

LJUBLJANA - Leader of the People's Party Janez Podobnik is to comment at 11:30 AM on the outcome of Sunday's elections to the European Parliament.

BLED - As part of the celebrations marking 1000 years since Bled was first mentioned in written records, Culture Minister Andreja Rihter is to open the renovated staircase on the Bled island at noon. (STA)

BLED - An international conference debating clustering and Slovenian business clusters, organised by the Economics Ministry and the Podjetnik magazine, is to open.
