Belgrade demands extradition of escaped pilot

Belgrade, 27 October - The federal executive council demanded that the Austrian authorities return the Yugoslav army plane MIG 21 and extradite the pilot, who landed the plane at Celovec airport on Friday. The Yugoslav embassy delivered this demand to the Austrian minister for foreign affairs, and also demanded contact with the defected pilot, the Croatian Rudolf Perišić.
