Minority Concerned about Attempts at Changing Protective Law
Trieste, 18 June - The Slovenian ethnic minority in Italy is concerned over attempts by an Italian far-right MP to change protective legislation for the minority. Pietro Fontanini of the Northern League is namely leading a campaign for the law to specifically mention Resian, which he believes is not a Slovenian dialect, but some archaic Slavic language.
