Tolar Savings More Profitable After ERM II Entry, Banks Say
Ljubljana, 28 June - After Slovenia's entry into the European Exchange Rate Mechanism (ERM II), it will pay more to save in the domestic currency for the time being, while in the long run, tolar savings will be on a par with euro savings, the head of the Slovenian Banks' Association said after the central rate of the tolar was fixed at 239.64 for the euro.
