Central Bank Pledges to Keep Rate Stable

Ljubljana, 1 July - The Bank of Slovenia will set "exchange rate stability as a direct objective and, if necessary, use the instruments it has at its disposal," the central bank board of governors said after Thursday's session. The governors also established that the tolar rate is currently within frameworks set by the ERM II mechanism, and that no major surprises are expected.
