Mr. Cossiga is not to receive the representatives of the Slovenian minority

Ljubljana, 31 October - The President of the Republic of Italy, Mr. Cossiga, will not receive the representatives of the Slovenian minority during his visit to Trieste on next Sunday, November 3. The news was divulged by the Triestine authorities to the representatives of the minority, not excluding at the same time the possibility of a meeting at another occasion. Mr. Cossiga is also not to commemorate the victims of Basovizza, as was suggested by a representative of the Slovenian minority. He will however commemorate the victims of Fojba and Rižarna of Trieste.
