Plan to Curb General Gov't Deficit Not Too Ambitious, Mramor Says
Ljubljana, 5 July - The European Commission's assessment of the Slovenian convergence programme made before Slovenia was allowed to enter the Exchange Rate Mechanism II is positive, according to Finance Minister Dusan Mramor, although the Commission criticised Slovenia for a too optimistic economic growth and inflation forecasts in 2004 and 2005.
