Drnovsek Expects Stronger Ties with Romania as an EU Member
Brdo pri Kranju, 6 July - Slovenia expects that Romania's upcoming EU membership will strengthen bilateral relations, President Janez Drnovsek told the press after meeting his Romanian counterpart Ion Iliescu at Brdo pri Kranju on Tuesday. Iliescu, who began a two-day official visit today, said Slovenia had a certain advantage over Romania on its path to the EU, as it enjoyed great political stability in its 13 years of independence.
