LJUBLJANA - The annual meeting of Slovenian emigrants is set to begin in parliament house at 10 AM. Organised by the parliamentary commission for Slovenians living abroad, the gathering is to focus this year on the young generation of Slovenians living abroad. (STA)
BRUSSELS, Belgium - The Slovenian Ministry of Information Society is to organise a business conference in Brussels to promote Slovenian enterprises in the sector of information and communication technology. The conference is to be attended by Information Society Minister Pavel Gantar and European Commissioner for Enterprise and Information Society Erkki Liikanen. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The government is to hold its regular weekly session at 10 AM. (STA)
BELGRADE, Serbia-Montenegro - The president and vice-president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Jozko Cuk and Cveto Stanic, are to attend a meeting of the presidents of business chambers from the former Yugoslav republics.
LJUBLJANA - Henrich Wilhelm Ronsohr, the head of the German parliamentary friendship group with Slovenia, is to visit Slovenia. He is due to meet with Deputy Speaker Valentin Pohorc at 10 AM.
BRDO PRI KRANJU - President Janez Drnovsek is scheduled to receive the credentials of the new Columbian and Pakistani ambassadors.
LJUBLJANA - An automobile cluster is to be established by Slovenian companies. Its activities are to be presented at a news conference at 4:30 PM.
LJUBLJANA - Forum 21, a group of prominent public figures led by Former President Milan Kucan, is to hold a news conference to present its views on Slovenia's development.
OPICINA, Italy - Draga Mladih, a traditional gathering of Slovenian youth from abroad and home, is set to get underway, running for four days.
LJUBLJANA - The 52nd Ljubljana Summer Festival is to get underway.
