Minister Says Slovenia Successful in Green Tax
Ljubljana, 7 July - In introducing environment tax, Slovenia is one of the most successful countries, as the incomes from environment tax and excise duties amounted to 3.37 percent of the GDP in 2001 and SIT 171bn (EUR 713.81m) or 4 percent of GDP in 2003, said Finance Minister Dusan Mramor at Wednesday's session of the parliamentary group GLOBE-Slovenija.
