Constitutional Court Suspends Provisions on Opening Hours of Stores

Ljubljana, 9 July - The Constitutional Court has issued a temporary stay on the execution of a part of the act on trade which would introduce a near complete ban on Sunday shopping. The Court reached the decision after reviewing petitions for constitutional review by retailers Mercator, Kompas MTS and Era, as well as oil retailer Petrol.
