SDS: No New Deputy-Speaker Candidate until LDS Gets Serious
Ljubljana, 13 July - After their candidate Dimitrij Rupel failed to be elected a deputy speaker on Monday, the opposition Slovenian Democrats (SDS) said today they are not considering proposing a new candidate. The party's leader Janez Jansa pointed out that the parliament standing orders clearly set down that one of the deputy speakers must be a member of the opposition.
