Ljubljana, 18 July - Below is a schedule of events for Monday, 19 July:
LJUBLJANA - Slovenia-Croatia consultations will take place at 11AM, led by Slovenia's State Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Andrej Logar and his Croatian counterpart Hido Biscevic. (STA)
BRUSSELS, Belgium - EU agriculture minister will meet, among them Slovenia's Milan Pogacnik, to discuss the radical sugar production reform and the common rural development fund. (STA)
BRUSSELS, Belgium - Meeting of EU justice and home affairs ministers, where Slovenia will be represented by Justice Minister Zdenka Cerar and Interior Minister Rado Bohinc. The ministers will, among other, tackle European network for exchange of criminal records and common procedure on asylum requests.
LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's delegation of local communities in the EU Council of the Regions (CoR) will hold a 10.30AM press conference to present its activities in CoR.
MOSTAR, Bosnia-Herzegovina - Culture Minister Andreja Rihter will take part in the conference of the culture ministers of SE Europe Stability Pact countries. Entitled "Cultural Heritage: Bridge to Common Future", the conference will be taking place upon the occasion of the opening of the renovated ancient Mostar bridge.
LJUBLJANA - The People's Party (SLS) will hold a 11AM press conference to present a joint initiative with the Austrian People's Party (OVP) from Carinthia and Styria to set up a Euroregion. (STA)
VELENJE - PM Anton Rop will visit the Velenje coalmine, where he is to meet the press at 4.30 PM after meeting the management and the miners.
BOHINJSKA BELA - For a week, 56 members of the Belgian Royal Military Academy will learn about the tactics and techniques of mountain combat at the Slovenian Armed Forces' mountain unit.
LUXEMBOURG, Luxembourg - Press conference of Slovenian temporary staff in the European institution who are to lose their jobs and will not have any right to unemployment benefits.
