Ljubljana, 20 July - Below is a schedule of events for Wednesday, 21 July:
LJUBLJANA - Foreign Minister Ivo Vajgl is scheduled to talk to the press at 11 AM to present the ministry's current activities, relations with neighbouring countries, cooperation in international projects and preparations for Slovenia's presidency of the Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe. LJUBLJANA - Estonian Finance Minister Taavi Veskimagi is due to arrive in Slovenia to exchange views on EU topics with his counterpart Dusan Mramor. A joint press conference is scheduled for 1 PM. (STA)
STRASBOURG, France - As the newly-elected European Parliament continues its first session, MEPs will review achievements of Ireland's EU presidency and plans of the Dutch presidency, which took over for the second half of 2003.
LJUBLJANA - Agriculture Minister Milan Pogacnik is to speak to the press at 1 PM to present the third set of priorities in the Single Programming Document and the rural development programme for the 2004-2006 period.
LJUBLJANA - The economic and social council, a body uniting employees, employers and the government, is to review the strategy of Slovenia's development at a session starting at 10 AM.
LJUBLJANA - Education Minister Slavko Gaber and head of the Romany Association of Slovenia Jozek Horvat - Muc are to present a strategy for the education of the Roma at a press conference which starts at 10 AM.
LJUBLJANA - Justice Minister Zdenka Cerar will be joined by State Attorney Lucijan Bembic in presenting the current state of the denationalisation process. The press conference starts at 11:30 AM.
LJUBLJANA - The Health Insurance Institute (ZZZS) is to present half-yearly results and programmes for the reduction of waiting lines at a press conference at 2:30 PM.
NOVA GORICA - Gorica will play Estonia's Flora in the return leg of the first round of qualifying for the Champions League. The game starts at 8:15 PM. (STA)
LJUBLJANA - The Association of Slovenian Beekeepers is to hold a press conference at 10:30 AM to address the recent decimation of bees in the western part of the country.
