Second-Century Burial Mounds Uncovered in Northern Slovenia
Maribor, 30 July - A sepulchral mound was unearthed in the rolling hills of Slovenske gorice, a wine-growing region NE of Maribor, by experts from the regional institute for preservation of cultural heritage. One of the best preserved mounds in Slovenia holds the ashes of inhabitants of the region from 2nd century AD.
