24-hour Slovenian radio broadcasting in Carinthia

Ljubljana, 14 November - The representative of Social-democratic Party in the Carinthian regional parliament, Mr. Peter Kaiser, demanded that a full 24-hour radio broadcasting in Slovenian language be established, backing up his demands by the need for Carinthia to follow the European trends regarding the bilingualism. He emphasized that more people learn Slovenian in Carinthia every day and that a day-out Slovenian radio broadcasting would certainly be of interest to them. This demand, with a long standing among the central Slovenian political and cultural organizations in Carinthia, has been backed also by the National Council for Slovenes at the office of the Federal Chancellor in Vienna.
