New Act on Road Traffic Safety Comes Into Force
Ljubljana, 13 August - Higher fines for traffic offenders, longer training period for beginners and changes to the traffic lights are just some of the many changes that the new road transport safety act brings. The act, aimed at combating high accident rate in Slovenia, came into force on Friday but will be implemented as of 1 January 2005.
