Yugoslav army attacks the "Wings of Dubrovnik"
Split/Rome, 15 November - This morning, ten miles south of the island of Šolta, the Yugoslav navy opened fire on the hydrofoil "Wings of Dubrovnik", which was carrying a delegation of UNICEF ministers. Nobody on board was hurt and the hydrofoil continued on its way to the Canal of Mljet, where it was searched from top to bottom at the order of the Yugoslav navy. Italian minister Margarita Boniver, who was also on board the hydrofoil immediately informed Rome of the incident. Minister Boniver told the ANSA news agency that four grenades hit the water only a few metres away from the hydrofoil and that several bursts from machine-guns were also fired at the vessel.
