Sailors Stranded Off-Land After Slovenia Tightens Rules

Koper, 19 August - "We are like prisoners. We are not allowed to leave the ship. We've been navigating the world's seas for over 20 years but have never seen anything like that," Delo was told by two sailors from the Russel Current cargo ship who are prevented by Slovenian police from leaving the ship in what are new rules introduced following the 1 May EU entry.
