Ljubljana, 18 November - DELO: DEMOS'S DECLINE - The new technique of ruling introduced and impersonated by Demos refuses to listen to the voices of the minority, or hear about settlements and compromises. Demos fell apart when it was no longer capable to solve inner conflicts through compromises. To retain its position it needs a referendum, an imposed constitution and early elections. Miran Lesjak comments that, with enough votes it is possible to attain any political goal and always impose new leaderships. But leaderships which can rule only through bureaucratic manipulation and ultimatum generate a perpetual political crises, constantly need new elections, new referendums, and reforms. Instead of changing their system of government, they change the mechanisms, which produce and then again ail controversies, until they finally weaken and wane.
