Olympics: Cankar Out of the Long Jump Competition

Athens, 24 August - Gregor Cankar has failed to made it to the final of the men's long jump competition. His best qualifying jump, at 7.32 metres, was almost 80 centimetres short of the qualifying mark that was set at 8.10 metres. In his first go, he even posted the shortest jump of the qualifying session, 5.04 metres.
