First Slovenian Soldiers in Afghanistan Return Home
Ljubljana, 26 August - The first group of Slovenian soldiers that formed part of the International Stabilisation Force (ISAF) in Afghanistan returned to Slovenia on Thursday. After six months in the capital of Kabul, the 18 soldiers were welcomed at the Ljubljana army barracks by Chief of Staff of Army Headquarters, Colonel Milan Obreza, while medals for peace were awarded as well.
