Schedule of Events for Monday, 30 August

GORNJA RADGONA - Third day of the 42nd Agriculture and Food Fair. Sonja Bukovec, head of the Slovenian Agency for Agriculture Markets and Rural Development, is expected to hold a lecture on EU and national funds. The fair is to wrap up on Friday.

LJUBLJANA - The collegiate body of the parliament speaker is to meet ahead of Tuesday's extraordinary session of the National Assembly to set the session's agenda. (STA)

LJUBLJANA - FM Ivo Vajgl is to meet a Slovenian business delegation ahead of his visit to Kosovo on 1 September, where he is to attend the opening of a Slovenian office for connections.

KRANJ - The chemical and tourism company Sava is to present its half-year business results and the president of its new supervisory board. (STA)

PTUJ - The ruling coalition is to meet in Ptuj. Before the meeting PM Anton Rop is scheduled to meet Ptuj Mayor Stefan Celan to discuss the development programme of the Ptuj Municipality.

LJUBLJANA - The council of the coalition Pensioner's Party (DeSUS) is expected to select the candidates for the general elections slate.

LJUBLJANA - The opposition New Slovenia (NSi) is scheduled to present the party's election programme.

LJUBLJANA - The Green Party is to hold a news conference on its general elections programme.

LJUBLJANA - The Youth Party (SMS) is to present its motto and its programme for the general elections campaign.

LJUBLJANA - The management of the Real Estate Association of the Chamber of Commerce is to meet to discuss the strategy for Slovenia's development and electronic cadastral register.

LJUBLJANA - The Chamber of Trade is to hold a press conference on its participation at the 37th International Trade Fair in Celje, which is to kick off on 8 September.
