The Vukovar convoy
Zagreb, 22 November - The column of vehicles from Vukovar, carrying 322 wounded, 17 doctors and 6 nurses, arrived in Djakovo at around 7 p.m. yesterday evening. It was followed later that night by another convoy of vehicles carrying 2,500 civilians and 60 wounded, who were the last to leave the hospital in Vukovar. According to Minister Andrija Hebrang, around 250 wounded and 300 health workers who were on the list of refugees to arrive from the city in this convoy are reported missing. Among these is also Dr. Vesna Bosanac, Medical Director of the Vukovar Hospital. There are still 6,000 civilians in Vukovar, whom the new authorities have ordered to leave the city.
